1747 So. Main Street, Yreka...just west of I-5 at one of the main exits of Yreka and the name of that exit escapes me now.

There are now 18 Black Bear's in CA and if you really need to know where they are located go to blackbeardiner.com. The food is always plentiful(and mighty tasty too!) and the one in Yreka is just west of I-5 and is usually crowded but they have the staff to handle it. Breakfast is available ALL the time and try the "Grizz" if you're really hungry-you won't be disappointed. They also have a counter if you are in a hurry and....just go try one. Also in Redding, Gridley, Willows, Mt.Shasta, Susanville and Alturas. I've heard one will open in Sacramento(in Natomas) in the next few months.

Good food, huge menu selection...can get any menu item, anytime. If you are out and about late..this restaurant closes at 10pm, 7 nights/week. Both mornings I went to the Black Bear there were CHP officers eating there so you know the food has to be good and not over-priced. They also have a Black Bear in Mt.Shasta, Redding, Alturas and Susanville. The restaurants in Mt. Shasta and Redding have large signs along I-5 letting you know what exit to take so use those. You won't go wrong dining at the Black Bear. I've been to three and they have all been very consistent, and consistently good too! Hope this helps some weary travelers.
