I was very happy with the breakfast food and service but I don't think I will trust this place again. One morning I woke up early and brought my family here for a special breakfast.

At 7am we simply found a piece of paper on the door stating they were opening at 8am due to unforeseen circumstances.

We decided to wait around till it opened. When we returned at 8am, someone inside simply posted another piece of paper on the front door which said they would open as soon as possible.

I worked at a breakfast spot for 6 years and considered opening at 6am on the dot to be a sacred duty to our loyal customers.

I don't know who didn't show up for work that day, but this place doesn't respect the time of their customers. I won't be returning no matter how nice the food is.

If you must go, be sure to call them before you to be sure they won't be closed indefinitely for some unknown reason.

While visiting Denver I was looking for a more traditional breakfast place but wasn't disappointed. Lucille’s is a Creole/Cajun restaurant that serves breakfast. The biscuits are more like small cakes. I went with the eggs benedict and it was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and on the ball. Great food and great coffee. Only complaint was our table was in everybody’s way on a Sunday morning.

The actual dining experiecnce beggars description on every level. It's almost better than sex. Mmmmmm... Go, sit, order, indulge, and be smiled upon by the gods of culinary perfection.

Lucile's lays the smackdown on all that is breakfast. Delectable, luscious, or ambrosial fails to describe how good this place really is.

How this place was unknown to me I have no idea. The food was fantastic..everything was cooked perfect! My coffee was never dry and nothing tasted old or stale,the waitress was on top of everything. This is my new favorite place. Just go and try it yourself...you will not be disapointed.

Lucile's serves huge, tasty biscuits, muscular coffee, sweet and tasty beignets, and a variety of omelets and other breakfast dishes. Your server fresh-squeezes juice for you, and the fruit platter is big and good. Everything is very well prepared. Service is congenial and competent. It's a wonderful breakfast/lunch place!
