restaurant close to empty on a monday, jan. 2010. waitress appeared high. gave us menus told us to seat ourselves. we chose table with wall length bench seat in a corner. waitress talks us into special omelette that day..I should have asked price but figured..it is a special..maybe good price too. got toast order wrong but not a big issue. refilled coffee only once. remember waitress won't seat people and a group of noisy seat kickers sit right next to us in an empty restaurant. then waitress brings our bill and tells us she is going off shift but not to rush our meal. a few minutes later she returns and demands we pay her now since she is also our cashier and wants to leave! she wasn't the only waitress but we were given the bums rush and charged almost 10.00 for an omelette. won't go back.

I actually wanted to comment on an evening party we held at the cafe. Because the cafe is only open until 2:00 pm they can host private parties at night. It was very reasonable to do so. We got to customize our menu, and there was no minimum amount required that had to be spent. It looked beautiful lit up in the evening. Very quaint place to hold a special event.Wait and kitchen staff was awesome. It took the stress off of us so we could have a good time.

Right when we walked in we were greeted and seated by a very sweet girl named Cortney. Our coffee's were full and stayed full our entire visit. The atmoshere was hip and inviting and the food was a home run no doubt. The specialties seem to be the Millcreek mound or the breakfast burrito smothered in Chili Verde. Personally I had the basic breakfast they call the classic. The food was phenominal and plenty of it for a reasonable price. Excellent service!
