A major sales pitch for this place for me is the $10 all you can drink mimosas, that come in a variety of different flavors. (And yes, the servers are perfectly friendly even if you just stay for a few hours drinking mimosas...)
But even if I weren't buzzed by the time the food comes, I'd give this place high ratings for a delicious benedict menu-- crab cake benedict, salmon benedict, etc. I tried a salmon scramble here once, and it was also perfectly balanced and textured.
I'm thrilled there are no lines to get in, but this place really should be one of the hot-spot restaurants in SC.

I finally found a place that all my friends can enjoy. For the vegetarian they have a tofu scramble, I recomend the vegetarian chorizo omelette. They have lots of benedicts to choose from, crab cake, smoke salmon, and traditional. They have a large menu to choose from like ham steak & eggs, stuffed french toast, and linguica & eggs. Wait until you taste the complementary honey balls, yum! This is our new breakfast spot.

The food was very nice, but it's definitely not california cuisine, and it's definitely not outstanding. I was disappointed with the basically standard menu. But for the price, it's a perfectly good breakfast place, and go now while no one knows about it - there's no wait! It seems a bit amateur, but that's part of the charm - and certainly as the restaurant gains more experience, the food will probably improve.

This newly-opened restaurant serves breakfast until 2 PM, as well as lunch and dinner for the rest of the day. The food is outstanding California cuisine, the service excellent and the decor elegant - but still kid friendly! - and the relaxing background music makes for a perfect eating experience. This has become my favorite breakfast place in downtown Santa Cruz (and no, I don't own the restaurant).
