Bulkie roll, egg, cheese, bacon, sausage , ham or all three with home fries in the sandwich. The Boot Mill is legendary in Lowell. Named after a local mill building. They are a must have if you are in the area.

The "Boot Mill" sandwich is well known in the area. I'm sure Jack Kerouac had a few. His park is right across the street. The current owner has won the battle with anorexia and cooks up a good sandwich. It's a genuine diner with original seats, refrigerator, cutting board and floor.
Good prices. Paper plates because his diswasher has two legs and a heartbeat. Check it out. Kenny Rogers eats there when he comes to town.

This place isn't call The Paradise, It's known by all Lowell natives as "Arthur's" !

If you're looking for a meal in Lowell from 6 am until noon, consider The Paradise...if you're hungry, order the Boott Mill sandwich which is served on a homemade bulkie roll with eggs, cheese, your choice of bacon/sausage/ham, and...homefries (in the sandwich). The Paradise is a Worcester Diner - 1936 vintage - not elegant, not scrupulously clean, but definitely worth the effort for that hearty breakfast we know you need.
