This place is fantastic for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. So many different choices for the egg lover and the eggs benedict is one of the greatest I've had! Been to all the breakfast joints in Toronto and I definitely think that Eggspectation is one of the best in the city. Check it out :)

Side of beans with your bacon and eggs? How about four pieces of waffle measuring two inches by two and a half inches at six dollars? Well if you’re the type of person that likes to eat at a crowded restaurant, then Eggspectation will surpass all your expectations with delightful things that I’m sure other restaurants of similar nature provide:
Intimacy: Can be thrown out of the door because everyone’s conversation becomes yours.
Price: Get a second mortgage.
People: Gaudy.
Beans: Why?
Appetite: Bring snacks or pack a lunch before going, the portions are fit for anorexics.
Coffee: Is it ever good anywhere?
Children: Loud and too many of them.
Staff: Hard working for a very busy place, I feel sorry for them.
Appearance: Exposed bricks and exposed ducts and pipes painted in black. I mean As far as looks go it’s not bad really... The kitchen is open and you can see them making the food. Kinda’ neat.
Service: Normal, nothing to brag about and nothing to dislike. It was fine.
Basically if you’re looking for a regular cheap and filling breakfast ie: bacon, eggs, home fries, toast and coffee; you ain’t gonna find it hear...If you’re prepared to have the rest of your food potentially make contact with beans or some type of salad, then god have mercy on your soul.. I have no problems with a fried or raw tomato, in fact I don’t think it’s done enough., but I digress.
It’s important to stress that breakfast is the most important part of the day and that four minuscule pieces of waffle at six dollars is laughable. I was starving going in and I was really hungry leaving. Conclusion and lesson of the day: Stay away and don’t listen to the hype, which ever shape or form it may take.
