We love the Compton! We have been going to Saratoga Springs for years and have not found a better breakfast joint! The Eggs Bendict is down rite awesome! The coffee is excellent as well and the service is quick! Get thier early because it tends to get crowded later in the AM...

Compton's is a Sunday morning tradition in my book. Their breakfast is great and their service is amazing! My husband and I went there all the time when we lived in Toga. We have been going there for 6 years, sometimes with breaks inbetween and our waitress still remembers our order..I haven't seen a menu since 2001!
Fantastic little gem in Saratoga and I highly recommend it!

Here is a classic greasy spoon diner on main street of a town which tries to position itself as an upscale sort of place. Comptons looks out of place next to the boutiques and jewelery stores. And I love it! If you just want some eggs, toast, home fries and a decent cup of coffee this is your place. The staff of usually middle aged women take their time and a have a little attitude, a classic diner ambiance. A great place to wake up, eat and read the paper. Lunch is OK. Not open for dinner. The cheapest and best spot for good old diner breakfast in downtown Saratoga Springs.
