Recommended by Cousin Lynn, so I suggested it to Mom and Sister for Memorial Day brunch. The food was every bit as good as the reviews written. I tried the blue cornmeal pancakes with real maple syrup, and a chicken sausage and eggs. Other family members enjoyed their breakfast orders, too. Got there at 9:30 AM so the wait was minimal. The Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed it all. Good quality and good value. Must try for breakfast when in Sonoma County.

There are good reasons you often seen a line outside Hallie's. Beverages are ample and HOT (both tea and coffee), the service is quick and the servers smart and pleasant. Try for a booth for maximum comfort. Kids are welcome and there may be something in the air that makes them all well-behaved. We haven't even mentioned the food: drop-dead scrumptious. Hash browns are always the litmus test in a breakfast place, and Hallie's are four-star. Portions are ample: smaller eaters could split a breakfast and be satisfied. There appear to be no weak spots on the menu. I'm almost sorry to be submitting this review: now it'll be even harder to get a table. It's worth getting up early to be there when they open. They serve lunch as well, but when breakfast is this good, why bother?
