Waffles were fine. The rest of the experience was just ok. Visited at about 10 on Sunday morning. The place was half full with 2 servers. Doing their best but it appears they are challenged as a going concern, with a help wanted sign on the passout area. Offering 4.99 for all you can eat pancakes. The waffle stacker looked good. We just had waffle with eggs and bacon. My wife didn't like her eggs. The passout area was a wreck. Staff was occupying a prime window booth with their laptop. We probably won't be back.

Service: Waitress asked to refill my coffee 5 minutes after she brought it so it was still full, but then never asked again the entire meal. It's kind of like she didnt look just asked the questions you're supposed to ask. Also, since I had never been there before, I asked her about the waffles, asked if they are the crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside type. She said yes.
Food; The waffle was like a sponge, NOT crispy at all. The waffle was lukewarm when I got it and by the second bite was cool to the touch. The eggs seemed like they had water added to them. Whatever it was on the eggs, it leaked down onto the bacon, which was underneath the eggs. For my money, crisp bacon is appetizing, chewy soggy bacon is not. The syrup tasted like mostly corn syrup, not much maple flavor.
Making my experience better: It was obvious I didnt like my meal, 3/4 of the waffle was still on my plate. She asked if everything was alright, again that question a waitress is "supposed" to ask. I told her the waffle wasnt crispy and shook my head. I guess because I didnt say "I HATED IT" is why she didnt offer an alternative. Or some form of compensation. So basically I paid $8.32 for eggs. I wont go back and wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone ever.

Great food, wonderful people. The waffles and waffle sandwiches are great. This used to be a cheap place, but now they have waitstaff and since you have to tip, it tips the scales to reasonably priced.
