Mi Piace, move over! Your lock on great breakfast in Old Town Pasadena is broken.

CrepeVine is a small wine and crepe bistro that I really enjoy for dinner, but we tried Sunday brunch there for the first time today. It was outstanding. The menu is not expansive, but the quiches, eggs, and pancake offerings, together with their regular lunch fare, are just great.

Even the coffee was among the best we'd ever had and was refilled almost constantly.

And, best of all - there was a 30-minute wait at Mi Piace and NO wait at CrepeVine.

Only downside is that the service was a little on the slow side.

But we'll definitely be going back quite frequently.
