Food is great but the small portions are disappointing. The service was very good. I would go back, but I would order something extra.

Sadly the service was awful for a Monday, only 1 waiter from 8-9 a.m.I had the new berry filled crepes for $8.99 and while they were stuffed with lots of blueberries because they were frozen and reheated tasted more like dried cranberries! I couldn't eat the berries! When the waiter asked us from behind the counter how our food was I asked him to tell the cook about the dry blueberries, but I doubt he did because he has so busy. My husband's omelet was nothing special either, I had to ask for a glass of water! For an omelet, crepes, & two coffees with tip the bill was over $25 and I would rate this one of the worst breakfasts anywhere based on quality, service and cost. On top of this the only woman's toilet in the restaurant did NOT flush! I told the waiter about that too, but again, he was stretched really thin so don't know if he did anything about it.

We were a party of four and we arrived at 11:00 am on Sunday 6/13/09. We were told it would be 20-30 minutes. We were seated at 11:40. We waited 10 minutes to get coffee. We placed our order at that time. We had to chase a waitress down twice to get coffee refills. (they had vanished) We got our food at 12:20. I had SOS over biscuits topped with two poached eggs. It came with home fries and baked beans. The canned beans were good. The poached were cooked good. The sauce for the SOS was bland and tasteless, the corne beef was very sparse. The buscuits were cold and bland. The home fries were almost warm and grossly over seasoned with garlic salt.
Two people in the party were over charged for "special" home fries that were supposed to be $0.99 with the meal (They were charged $2.59).

When we were trying to get the bill straightened out, we were told there was a party of thirty up stairs.

We live locally, and they have lost our business. What happened to the customer is always right.

This is really a great breakfast and lunch restaurant, They serve both all day. I think each Persys has it's own owner, therefore the owner can be there all the time. That's probably why the food and service is so good.

This breakfast place goes above and beyond the normal cup of coffee.....food=perfection! Our waitress treated us like we were kings and queens.....will be Back soon, (running).

Hard to beat Persy's for breakfast. Biggest menu ever and most of it's homade, even the bread is baked there. I love the hard to find homemade corned beef hash. Lunch is great with maybe the Cape's best chowders. I stop befoe catching a boat to the islands. Plenty of parking across the street.
