My family is a regular. The servers are great and food quality and choices are great. Large portions. They lowered many prices and now have endless eggs and pancakes. They even have crumpets. Try their Rubin Pinini.

My dining experience: I had biked down to Plymouth from Hingham one Sunday morning for fun, and stumbled across Persey's mid-morning while looking for a place to refuel for the trip back. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, quick, and excellent: I had a light omelette with egg whites and fresh veggies, and some good whole-wheat toast with butter. Coffee was excellent and they kept me filled up. As a single seater, they put me in the back (happy for me, as I was in bike togs) and the waitresses/hostesses were very kind. Delicious food, so I give it a 4-star (I save 5 stars for amazing experiences).
Summary: Simple, old-fashioned New England breakfast, great big menu (I was astonished), food hot and served immediately, big portions, great coffee. Don't expect gourmet: it's just simple New England breakfast food, no matter how complex the menu.
Now, as for the people on this board griping about the bread dough/ready-made bread that Persey's apparently buys -- so what? First, I've worked in the restaurant business before as a cook when I was in grad school, and with a menu the size of Persey's, they have to get shortcuts somewhere. I don't care if they don't make their own bread dough. They bake it fresh, apparently. What's important to me is that they make their own omelettes and pancakes. :)
Second, if you've ever worked in a restaurant, bacon does not go bad or off-tasting if you fry it up first and then refrigerate it immediately. ALL RESTAURANTS DO THIS. It's cured meat, people. Myself, I would MUCH rather have Persey's fry up a bunch of bacon, store it for the next few days, and have a clean non-bacony kitchen to fry up pancakes and omelettes. Bacon is messy. Everything would taste like bacon if they fried the bacon simultaneously. Restaurants fry bacon up once a week, or every couple of days or once a day at the most in the morning. I doubt Persey's does it only once a week with the volume that they do. No refrigerator is that big -- and in a restaurant with as many menu items as Persey's, refrigerator space has to be at a premium.
Anyway, again -- as someone who has worked as a cook, having ready-to-bake dough or bread shipped to you, or having bacon fried before hand, is not a problem and isn't 'gross'. It's to save space and to make sure things are fresh.
Health and safety inspections often include grease trap/overhead grease venting inspections, usually, so if Persey's is passing those inspections, I wouldn't worry about it. Feel free to check up on Persey's health inspections if you're worried.
No problems here, anyway.
