Nice spot, formerly the locally famous Brian's Eatery. The portions are nice, althought it's almost impossible to eat breakfast for less than 10 dollars, that's the norm in the San Diego area anyway. They're a little heavy on the cheese by default so you'll definitely want to be sure to tell them how much you want to make sure your dish isn't overpowered if it comes with it. Service is good and the restaurant is pretty comfortable although the parking isn't very spacious. It gets fairly busy for lunch but any time before 11 you should get your food in about 10 minutes.

At first glance you might not think of this as a great breakfast restaurant, but don't pass it by. We tried it out on a Saturday and they had a real variety of new dishes on the menu. We tried their Acapulco Omelet. It contained shrimp, onions, and diced tomatoes covered with melted jack cheese and guacamole with salsa on the side. They presented it with an English Muffin and Country Potatoes. The taste was fantastic. I'm sure we will make the trip back to this great restaurant often. Their hours are: 6am-2pm daily. The waitstaff were great!
