My daughter & I have been coming here since before she could walk (She's 5 1/2 now) We LOVE it here, the server we love most (Ashley) knows my daughter by name and always remembers that she wants BACON with whatever else she may order. The owner also remembers her name & comes over every time we are there to ask her how she's doing and makes sure she has crayons/paper to draw with. We rarely go anywhere else for breakfast, we feel so welcome here.

I had been a customer of the Bagel Shop for number of years. Up until very recently only for the bagels, and occasional sandwich all of which were excellent. My son and I went for dinner: the experience was quite different and unpleasant. I ordered a Prime Rib medium rare, it was well done with not a trace of pink, I sent it back. Its replacement showed up also well done.

When I asked for something different the waitress said "that's the best he can do." So I ordered another dish. The waitress was attentive and doing her best..

My son had ordered the Manicotti, took one bite and thought it was bland and that the cheese mix was tasteless. He went and got the waitress so he could order something else.

At this juncture a man sitting table away from me told us that was the way they got it.

I responded quietly that didn't matter to me, the food was not up to par. He then told us in a loud voice , "You don't like the food, all you do is complain, just get out of here."

I did and I won't be back. At no time in talking to the waitress did either my son or I raise our voices. The quality of the food was sub-par. The attitude displayed by the owner was horrible, instead of finding out what we were concerned about and solving the problem, he escalated a complaint from a long-time customer into lost business.

MY WIFE AND I STOPPED BY FOR DINNER LAST EVENING AND WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR MEAL.
WE ORDERED OFF THE SPECIAL BOARD AND WERE SERVED IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER.
WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR MEAL AND WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.

MY FRIEND AND I HAD BREAKFAST SANDWICHES HERE THE OTHER DAY AND IT IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE HAD IN THE AREA.
THE COFFEE WAS THE GREATEST AND THE REFILLS NEVER ENDING.

Since the new owners took over in 2008 the place has been renovated with a comfortable/homelike feeling. Breakfast is served from 6am to 8pm and it's the best around. The soups at lunch are great and the dinners are reasonable. It's a good place to go to talk to friends. They have really kicked it up several notches. Way to go guys.

this place was a dump! the food was terrible and cold. the service sucked, especially from one person in particular. i threw up my bagel with humus, and the mountain dew was warm ! i am never coming back to this place of buisness again. !!!!! grrr

I go to the bagel shoppe alot i love there food and they have really good coffee. the waitress pam is very nice and makes you feel at home.

I stop every morring for a bagel and a coffee on my way to work.there bagel sandwichs are really good and you don't have to wait a long time and the coffee is really good and fresh! it's the best place to go if your in a hurry to get to work and they open early toooooooooooo !

I would stop at the north pocono bagel shop every morring before i would go to school for a breakfast sandwich and a choc.milk Now I'm going to college i look forward to comming home on weekends for that i can go to the north pocono bagel shop for breakfast.they have a great cheese omlete that joe makes he is a really good cook.

I have been stopping at the north bagel shop for breakfast for all most 8 years they have great breakfast sandwichs and good coffee you can eat it there but if your in a hurry you can have it to go ! There sausage,egg,& Cheese on a bagel are the best !!!!! They really make you feel at home.
