I tried the omelet with green chilies and sausage which was very good and not too spicy for my wife. She had grits and if you like grits ask them to let you add the salt. The cook must not be worried about the customer's salt intake. The coffee was good, hot but Folgers, nothing special. The map program showed it in the middle of Tucumcari but it was located on the east end. If you want to see what the Interstate has done to small towns on route 66 that depended on the traffic to survive have breakfast at Dean's and drive through town. It reminded me of the town in the grandson's Cars movie DVD. I rated the price as average because it is not a bargain price breakfast unless you are from the West coast.
