This is - hands down - the BEST breakfast spot. We go every weekend, get there early to avoid a long wait. The wheat germ pancakes are awesome and the portions are large enough to share.

My husband and I vacation in Monterey and Pacific Grove 2-3 times a year .We normally vacation on weekdays to avoid tourist congestion and have never had to wait in line except the one Sunday we went there. The food is awsome,a full coffee pot is left on your table along with fresh cream .The service is quick and the staff super friendly and helpfull .There are healthy choices on the menue and the cooks meet all requests within reason .You can eat indoors or out outdoors around a fireplace .This is the best little breakfast/lunch restraunt in town IMO .

there was a line and a 30 minute wait. next time I will get there earlier.
