Sadly this place has taken a downward spiral. We went to have dinner and ordered the country ham which was on the menu but received regular virginia baked ham which we do not like...when told to the waitress there was no offer to change to anything much less what we ordered. To make a bad dinner more miserable we were served our meal in a plastic oval shaped basket as though we were having burgers...not having a ham and vegetables dinner. Plastic utensils completed the horror. We used to enjoy going there but will NEVER go again and have passed the word to everyone who will listen to stay away from that place. It appears to be on the verge of going out of business...hope it does.

We ate at the Moose Cafe at the Farmer's Market today for the first time. We had a coupon in our entertainment booklet for a buy one/get one free ($5.00). We asked before ordering if we could use it (it said dinner) for lunch, and the waitress said YES. The food was okay, but when we went to pay, we were told that we could NOT use it for lunch. This was disappointing since we made a special trip there, primarily to use the coupon. We will not be eating there in the future.

The Moose Cafe is the best country restaurant I have ever visited. They started me and my family off with homemade biscuits and applebutter. I ordered the meatloaf. WOW! I think they served me the whole loaf. Not a single ounce of loaf was left on my plate. Thank you for real country cooking.

My fellow firemen and I love eating at the Moose Cafe. They go out of their way to take great care of us. The homemade biscuits and applebutter are out of this world. I have a new favorite restaurant.

The Moose Cafe is welcome addition to the Greensboro area. Great home cooked food, fresh veggies and the best breakfast in town. Love the biscuits and apple butter.

It has great home cooking. Has reasonable pricing. They serve biscuits and homemade apple butter to the table before you order. I am not one for apple butter But I will have to say that it was great.
My favorite was the biscuits and gravy, with a side of grits.
