Very rude to elderly customers. 76 year old women asked for the correct spoon and was told if they did not like it to leave and was given a soup ladle. This women has been going to Westmoreland Diner since it first opened under other owners. Women felt so bad she tried calling the next day to say she was sorry and they refused to talk to her. What happened to the customer is always right, I know the eldery some times say things they do not mean but this was down right rude. Next day her husband went for coffee with friend which he does every day, also has fixed thing for the owners around the Diner for them, he began to talk to them nothing about what happened and was told they did not want to hear his Bull ---- !!!! This was so uncalled for. If these owners and there daughter can not deal with the elderly they sould not be in business. This couple cried over this. Do not take your bad days to work or have and employee who does not like the eldery......

Customer Service for the Senior Citzen's is rude and unfriendly. Customer told to leave by owner becauese a soup spoon was given instead of a teaspoon. Customer simply asked waitress for correct spoon and Owner/cook sent a soup ladel out to be a smart and told a woman that has been coming to the diner for 20 years, who husband does a lopt for the diner for FREE not to come back. UNACEPTABLE!

Not much in Westmoreland but it is good to have the Westmoreland Diner back again. A fire nearly destroyed it a few years ago and we only recently noticed it had opened again.
The prices are quite modest at this restored breakfast and lunch place, the menu is reasonably large and the food quite good. My wife got steak and eggs and got a real steak instead of the usual grisly tough piece of meat. The food was ample and cooked right.
Good to have such a place when you can't be choosy.
Best, Terry
