Hard to find something on the menu worth eating. Dinning room way to over crowded so you're forced to listen the yuppy clown's next to you talking loud trying to impress you with what little knowledge they have. The tea tastes like your licking the rear out of a rhino.
So if you're one of the many that is into image and think you're at the in place with all the in people. Where the most powerful of omaha business sit with there blackberry's and bluetooth's (THIKING) they are making high power business decisions while eating and trying to impress you then this your place.

Oh my! Where to start. The menu was voluminous and not filled with the standard fare. I had the eggs and pot roast with hash browns and toast, it was...exquisite! The waitstaff may be the best I've ever experienced. Marybeth was prompt, courteous and did not have to write down our order and yet it was perfect when it arrived at our table. She made my wife's special order drink and and answered all our questions expertly. The food was well prepared and delivered in a timely manner. We sat in the inside patio and found the surroundings quite pleasant, reminiscent of European cafes minus the attitude.
Overall it was the best breakfast experience we have had since moving to Omaha 3 years ago. To the management and staff of Wheatfield's I say...well done and thank you.

This restaurant features what is probably the largest breakfast selection in Omaha. This place has the advantage of being a world class bakery as well.
The service is great, however the restaurant is very busy. The service has never let me down, though.
I am a believer in the "you get what you pay for" mentality (in most cases). This is probably the most expensive breakfast restaurant in the city, but the food is the very top notch.

Wow! Our entire large party was extremely impressed with our dinner at Wheatfield's. Our Saturday night fare included entrees ranging from potato casseroles to ribs to salmon to liver and onions. Every meal was superb - very generous portions, excellent preparation, great service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. This restaurant is incredible, especially if you can get yourself to move beyond the amazing bakery at the front door! Enjoy!!

Excellent, expansive menu, EXCEPTIONAL bakery! European flare with large portions. Menu includes standard breakfast fare, with light, tasty waffles, homemade breads (that you can also buy)omelettes, frittatas, crepes and fondues. They are known for their potato casseroles. With their egg dishes, they serve everything from steak, ham and bacon, to polish sausage, hamburger and chicken breast. Great soups, sandwiches and entrees for lunch and dinner. Tasty tropical mango ice tea is great too! It's difficult, but save room for their incredible desserts!
