Every time someone says that they have a great restaurant to try for breakfast...I go and try it. And every restaurant I try never seems to quite measure up to this one. Curt and Cathy, the owners, run the highest quality breakfast spot I have found. While their food may be standard breakfast fare, the quality is anything but ordinary. The highest quality ingredients and freshness make this my breakfast place of choice when I return to my home town of Orinda. I love restaurants and I live in San Francisco where good restaurants are everywhere. But, even in SF there are very few breakfast spots that serve quality food like this place. I have breakfast here once a week and it has never disappointed. Check it out. The food is great and the people that serve you are fast and friendly. Enjoy.

good food, fairly priced, the only bummer is they charge a corkage fee for coffee and they do not offer any types of espresso, latte etc ....

I've had breakfast here twice and will again. The corned beef hash is made from scratch and is delicious, with chunks of tender, juicy corned beef. I got the half order which was more than enough. Bacon is thick and balanced perfectly between crispy and chewy. Sausage links are plump and well spiced but the texture was a little soft for my taste. Potatoes are scalloped and have plenty of crispiness but my wife found them lacking in flavor. Eggs ordered over-easy came perfectly cooked. Only downside is if you get there in the heart of the morning rush and have to wait, you'll be standing outside and they don't maintain a waiting list.
