UPDATE!! Cafe Denise DID close. It is now occupied by a Chicken Town Restaurant. Ribs, chicken and all that stuff. I don't think it will "make it" at this location. But we miss Cafe Denise. We hope she reopens again somewhere else. She was just about to celebrate her five year anniversary there. I understand that she is doing some catering for different people.

I hope it's not true, but it looks like this place is closed. There may have been a problem with them personally as a result of hurricane Sandy and the nor'easter a week later. They would be celebrating 5 years here and there was no indication that they would be closing so I hope it's not so. This is a favorite of ours but we don't that often because we try lots of different places.

Just opened less than six months ago, this FIND is nestled in the Stella Towne Center across the road from Dunkin Donuts and 7/11 shopping area. Open six days a week (closed Sundays) and open 6AM for breakfast. Also serves lunch. Run by Denise herself and her son, menu has the usual fare plus wraps and daily specials. Homemade muffins, coffee cake and bagels are also available. Food is good, home fries are among the best we've had. Portions are good sized. We had a spinach and feta wrap and an Italian wrap today. Both good. Friendly place. They are doing some renovations now that they have been there a little while. Owner's brother runs Starving Artists in Ocean Grove (see write-up). Well worth a visit.
