I get dragged to this place every year when we vist family in Springfield. They get business because they were on Diners Driveins and Dives and people have seen them on TV. They don't need to make an effort at really good food as a result. I've not enjoyed a single bite of food I've had here and I've gotten sick after eating here more than once.

Nothing fancy, just good food, and lots of it! Charlie Parker's is only open for breakfast and lunch, and you can have either one at any time they are open. Try a "shoe" for breakfast, but don't tell your cardiologist. Check out their large pancakes-- they are so big that they have to be served on a pizza pan!

They now charge you $2.50 for a couple of cups of coffee. Ridiculous!!!
