We run to this place, a half hour away from our home in northern SF, every chance we get. Like the previous reviewer says, it is quite an experience. Once the waitress takes your order you have no more than 5 minutes before the food arrives.

And it's always good and it's always plenty. There is a reason a line forms at this place.

People drive from 30 or more miles away to eat at this place... and the first time you do, you'll know why. A cop referred me to this place, so it's apparent he knows breakfast is more than just doughnuts.

The servers here (mostly women) wear cool-colored tropical shirts and have probably each been here at least 20 years... it's apparent they love what they do, and they make sure you're waited on quickly. There is a good array of items on the menu, and they're all cooked by a team of six chefs who also look like they have been here 20 years and love their job, too.

The best thing on the menu? Of course, the pancakes. Golden brown yet fluffy, served with the closest thing to real maple syrup you can find. The eggs and omeletes are also fabulous. My favorite? The chicken-apple sausage and egg breakfast, served with crisp hashbrowns and pancakes. The price? Less than $10. A great deal, and my spouse and I usually spend Sunday mornings here after sleeping in. Even though it's close to the house, I'd drive that 30 miles now and then to have breakfast here, it's THAT good.
