I have eaten at the Hot Metal Diner a bunch of times, and every experience was very good. It is a fun place, as the waitress staff is usually joking around among themselves and the customers, but they always have a smile and are super friendly. The food is excellent comfort food, and service is fast. It gets a bit of a crowd on weekends when the weather is good. The pancakes, and particularly the extra large Mancakes, are outstanding. Lunches are great too.
