Cinnamon rolls tough and chewy, breakfast muffins must have been from yesterday or taken out of the freezer since they were dry and tasteless. Owner is never there and the manager (Carole) is nasty and unpleasant to deal with. (I'd love to buy one of their pies and smash it into her fugly face.) This bakery is listed as a "green" establisment . . . must be in reference to mold growing on their old pastries. BTW, their coffee is also dreadful . . . you could put used cat litter in a filter, run hot water through it and get a better product.

Overpriced and staffed with some of the most unpleasant folks I've run into for some time. The coffee here is the worst I've had anywhere. Where is Dunkin Donuts when you need them?

The locals refer to this place as the "Dykery". Outrageously priced, mediocre pastry, undrinkable coffee, and service with a sneer from the unpleasant and nasty employees.

Very disappointing for an older, established place. Nasty, bitter coffee and everything seems "a little old" if you know what I mean. When I complained about the tarts I had purchased on a previous visit, the woman almost bit my head off and practically said I was a liar. Bad attitude; bad product . . . I see bad times ahead for this place.

The only thing that's really fresh here is the cranky manager who is a sister of the owner and feels she's entitled to be rude to the customers and other staff. The fact is, everything is made in huge batches and frozen, so by the time you get one of their cinnamon buns, it could be five months old. I'd rather have less items to choose from that are freshly baked than many that are in very stages of aging. Very overpriced and very disappointing . . . not the Bread & Roses of a few years ago.
