We love this place. And it is not strictly Hawaiian - not at all. The menu is so varied to include all kinds of taste. It's quaint, clean and warm looking with comfortable seats with antiques lining their under-ceiling shelves. The owner, Floria, is adorable, very friendly, and accommodating and what a cook! The service has improved greatly since they opened. The food comes out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. Since it is prepared after you order it - it is wonderful to be able to sit down to a gourmet breakfast or dinner that is so yummy in a such a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff is always asking you how everything is, but are non-intrustive - a real plus.

And the food - nothing I could ever make myself - her secret ingredients and old family recipes are fabulous. The aromas that pass from their open kitchen to the patrons make you curious just as to what's cooking.

We go to Hally K-Onos almost every Friday and a lot of times on Sunday morning before we catch an early movie. So much fun and a party for your palate!

Gross: Frittata says it comes with corn beef hash ontop, but they actually scrambled hard chewey ham into the omelette.

Bad service: 1) plates came out 10 minutes after one another. 2) Order was wrong 3) server left the wrong order plate on the table for the food to get cold while she brought out correct items on a side plate 10 minutes later

Huge Attitude Problem: Owner doesn't like to be told that food shouldn't come out 10 minutes after one another. She states that "this is way I do things. I don't want plates to get cold." When is this ever a good idea to bring one plate out 10 minutes after another????? No one likes waiting for the other person to get their food before eating and since people wait for one another the food gets cold anyways!

Food is amazing. Great Omelette's. Potatoes are great. Interesting food. I could go here every day. Service is little less than average.
