An okay place for a quick, inexpensive meal. I ordered French toast and sausage. French toast was lukewarm and unimpressive. Sausage was shriveled up and dry. My wife faired better, she had a grilled cheese and French fries with a bowl of clam chowder. The building itself is very cozy, it seems to be a neighborhood fixture. The staff was extremely friendly.

Lindy's used to be much better, but lately it seems that they are using cheaper food and rude servers. The servers ignored me for 15 minutes, then the one that finally waited on me got offended that i would ask for a cup of decaf coffee. When i got my coffee it was cold, so i asked her to make a fersh pot, she shot me the look of death and walked away. This place has gone downhill in such a short time, I will eat breakfast anyplace but Lindy's Diner. Just to let you know, the forst review was actually written by Chuck Criss, one of the owners of Lindy's Diner. You have to be really low to write a good review of your own lousy restaurant!

Stopped at Lindy's on a weekday. You have to pay for metered parking right in front of the diner. Menu was unimpressive. We were informed that they were out of bagels. Prices were very reasonable.Blueberry muffin was very good. I ordered two eggs and toast and home fries. The home fries were cold, toast was thick and delicious, eggs were ok. Service is a little spotty, the waitress had a tendency to chat with her girlfriends at the counter. My companion had an omelet that was very good. Best feature of this place is cost, which was low.
