Kitschy decor with lots of local traffic. Hard to find in a strip mall "elbow" but worth the hunt. Servers are pros and on the run. Owner has a thing goin' advertising local businesses on a flat screen and on table signs. Also shows food photos and staff cutting up. When I saw the waitress kiss an "old guy" single diner on his bald head well, I knew this was for me. I had the homemade corned beef hash ... wonderful! diced meat NOT mush meat with herbs and mushrooms ... mmm! Tip top biscuits and gravy. Busy even on a late weekday moring but worth it. Can you believe that a local regular got up and left so we could have her table!

This is a locals secret. Best breakfast I've
ever had in my entire life. I moved away from the
Monterey/Pacific Grove area 7 years ago and make
a trip back as often as possible.
Favorite item is The Eggs Benedict!!!! Best I've ever had, anywhere, all over the United States!

This is the BEST breakfast restaurant for the money. There is nothing pretentious about this place. The food is great, with daily specials that make you abandon the stand-by breakfast you always order. The people are friendly with quick service. Don't let the line outside deter you. It is quick moving and they serve coffee while you wait.
