We arrived to do research for a book I am writing about the founder of Wernersville's son, Isaac B. Werner, and started off a wonderful day with breakfast at the Red Plate Dinner. We tried the scrapple--which may be an acquired taste, but enjoyed everything and wished we had seen the pancakes before we ordered. They looked wonderful. The Eggs Made me and my wife deathly sick we had to go to the doctors. I lost 3 days at work. These people are a menace to to Werneresville this happened before to them in Boyertown and the farmers market reading. Horrible just Horrible!1

The Red Plate Diner is wonderful! They have the best breakfast ever! The Texas French Toast and Chocolate Chip Pancakes are my favorites - yummy! Also if you are celebrating a special occasion your meal is served on a red plate. And breakfast on your birthday is free : ) The service is great too, everyone is very friendly!
