Best food in town, nice that you can split meals for a charge, but you get plenty.

Even though the restaurant was empty, it took 15 minutes for our party of 5 to sit. The waiter was a bit slow, we had to remind him for coffee refills twice and for additional cream 3 times, we also had water spilled on one member of our party. I would give the service 3 eggs. The food was really good (4 eggs). The host was un-emotional when we were greeted and seemed to be in a mindframe of wanting to be elsewhere instead of work. The men's bathroom was disgusting but I think that might have been a one time occurance of someone not feeling too well. Overall, I'd give this place 3 eggs.

Don't know where to start in praising this restaurant! They have a large, diverse menu that will please any palate. Favorites include tender chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy, pork chops and eggs, machaca or chorizo with eggs - you can pick biscuits, a yummy muffin, pancakes or tortillas as your accompaniment. You can also have a delicious slice of banana cream pie or their other fancy desserts that tempt you when you pass the dessert case on the way in.

Excellent wait staff and a cool, lodge-like setting make this place top-notch in my book!
