Over Easy has moved. They are now at 4730 E. Indian School Rd, in a Safeway shopping center.
The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, for singles, couples or families. It's not a big place, so I expect that there is often a wait on weekend mornings. The coffee is good. The eggs were done perfectly, and the corned beef hash was very good. Definitely worth stopping in for breakfast.
Definitely worth seeking out.

We almost didn't come here because of all the reviews we read. I'm glad I didn't listen! I had a 2 egg breakfast with sausage, toast, and hasbrowns; I was very pleased. A friend of ours got the Wolfpack, and he said it was awesome! The other two people in our party got the carmelized banana and pecan french toast and said it was the best french toast they'd ever had! We waited a LONG time, probably because of it being on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives, but we seem to wait a long time at any breakfast joint on a Sunday morning; so that was no big deal.
I really don't know why all those other people complained. All I know is, I doubt the restaurant will miss them; seems like they're doing just fine without them!

Inspite of all of the hype Over Easy is quite average. Rather high priced. The sausage gravy comes loaded with sliced links not my idea of sausage gravy. The quality of service was...mid to below average without being bad. The jalapeno biscuits were good, though the side of ham was on the small side. The "chicken fried chicken" my wife had was good too but not special. There are much better places for breakfast. For whatever reason the bill could not be split. How difficult is that? All we wanted was separate checks, can't do it we were told.
It wasn't worth the 60 mile round trip.

Very high priced for the quality of food. Poor food quality.......tasted like it was loaded with chemicals and when I asked the waitress she said it was all cooked in liquid butter-yuck! Bacon tasted fake and cold. Over medium eggs had running whites and when I asked for them to be cooked more, the waitress proceeded to argue with me about over easy vs. over medium. Never had a refill on the horrible tasting coffee. If you have a taste for quality food you won't be happy here. If you like processed foods loaded with chemicals you may be happy.

Oh my God!
I can't believe that it has taken me so long to try this gem. I live right down the street, but was put off by some of the other review that I read. I think those who gave the negitive reviews should stick to Denny's or IHOP. This place is WAY over the top in terms of... EVERYTHING!
The bread is fresh baked, the '3 egg omelets' are more like 5 eggs, everything is first class, made fresh (obviously - you can taste the difference) and absolutley delicious!!!
The service was attentive, although I did have to ask for the check at the end of the meal - maybe its some European hang-up that they have - but I prefer to have my check by the time I finish my meal.
To all of my Arcadia neighbors, RUN, don't walk to Over Easy. You won't be disappointed.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE!
I don't want to go to a restaurant where I am literally sitting 3 inches away from the next table. To me, this just makes the owners look greedy that they have to get as many people in there as they can. Food was ok, but will NEVER Return. I was shocked to see how hard it was for everyone to fit where they were sitting and then they tried to sit 6 people in a table for 4. I mean come on! Don't be so greedy!

This restaurant was featured on a local news station and I wanted to try it. I'll tell you exactly what I experienced: It has a small diner type atmosphere. I ordered a malted waffle with maple syrup, with a side of hashbrowns and bacon. Every side must be ordered separately! I sat at the counter directly in front of the kitchen so I could see everything the cooks were doing with my food. While I waited, I had coffee that wasnt that good. It had like a strong, burnt type flavor that I didnt like. I sat there and watched the cooks pre-cook massive amounts of hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, and even pancakes, then sat it aside uncovered until someone ordered it. The only thing I witnessed that was actually made to order were the omeletes. Ok, now for the taste test... My waffle tasted like the batter had sat in the refrigerator for a couple days and it was luke warm at best, the bacon was dry and a little burnt, and my hashbrown looked and tasted like it was cut off a frozen block of potatoes. Needless to say, nothing was made fresh and the meal was less than average. I felt the food handling techniques were a little questionable also... I probably won't return. Ive had hotter, tastier food from Denny's!

Food was pretty poor. Partner and I ordered two two-egg breakfasts. The eggs were salty, bacon was bland, and the toast -- and I can't believe this for a breakfast place -- was evenly burnt! How hard is it to make toast?!? Service was good, but spectacular service can't make up for sub-par food.

Over Easy is a new restaurant dedicated to the wonderful art of breakfast. It has a good breakfast menu which covers many selections. They have great meats, excellent baked products and great bread. We tried the 3 egg breakfast and thw malted waffle-all were great. The potatoes were prepared well, both sausauge and bacon were very tasty, waffle was divine. They make their own Quince and vanilla jam which was very good. In addition they feature chicken fried steak, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, hash-the whole gamet. Over Easy has good coffee, but very strong. They also feature a fresh made lemonade in various configurations-we tried the ginger mint and it was great! They also feature a chai drink and their own cinnimon chocolate syrup. This is a great addition to the Phoenix breakfast scene-well worth trying and coming back for more! They are open just for breakfast from 7 am to 11 am. Great place!! Oh yes-the service was excellent-very attentive.
PS Try the Razz Cherry Scone-it was fabulous!
