We haven't been able to go out for a weekend breakfast at a restaurant in a long time and Country Mischief is one of our all time favorites!! Upon entering we were greeted with a beautiful smile & a good morning from there new chef! We were lucky to get a table it was busy place. The atmosphere is relaxing an welcoming. We started off w/ some hot coffee & juice. Our meals didn't take too long to get to our table & luckily it wasn't served instantly so it was comforting to know our meals were homemade an cooked to order! We had Eggs (poached always poached for us) that just hit the spot & the chefs new special banana pancakes w/ warm peanut butter drizzled on top. Every bite just melted in your mouth. Couldn't have started out the day any better!

Is there anything better than a relaxing breakfast on a summer day, enjoyed on someone's screened in porch with the birds chirping in the background? This is a wonderfully "homey" restaurant, furnished and decorated with an ecclectic mix of country kitsch and furnishings you'll remember from your childhood.
My companion and I have eaten here twice and each time went away satisfied and vowing to return. From the tiniest of kitchen come the most wonderful meals! The cinnabon french toast offers a wonderful cinnamon roll, lightly battered and grilled together with the breakfast meat of your choosing and eggs cooked to perfection. Another variation is the organge french toast - thick slices of homemade bread garnished with mandarin orange slices. The breakfast sandwiches (on bagel, muffin, bread or croissant) are truly too big to eat without a knife and fork. Service is courteous and casual, lending a family atmosphere to the experience. You should know that the Sunday brunch menu is more limited than the regular breakfast menu. Parking on site is limited to about 6 cars, but street parking is allowed. While you may have to wait for a seat, either on the porch or inside, you can easily spend your time wandering through the many rooms of country decor and antiques. Enjoy!

Nice old home converted into a restaurant and antique shop. Very good food and a great setting! We had breakfast by the burning fireplace, very nice.
