the food is good ... But the woman running the place (Karen ) is the biggest Prude ever ! Really doesnt know how to treat her employees , Bounces all the work checks leaving them with bad credit everywhere so they cant even cash a check .Someday she will have someone working there that has enough Nerve to stand up for theirself and sue her for everything she has ! Very ungreatful person she is !

Libby's is an excellent example of an old-fashioned greasy-spoon diner with a VT flare to it. The burgers & pancakes are great...the staff is quick & friendly, and the cooks are, naturally, a lil onery, which is to be expected. Libby's is one of the best diner's in the area IMHO.

In October of 2008 we were in Burlington and found Libby's through a local magazine - We ended up going back 2 more times before we headed home to NJ. The food was fabulous, the hash browns were great and I have never found a place serving biscuits and real sausage gravy so far north. We really enjoyed the people, the atmosphere and most of all the food. I managed to figure out the hash browns and made an "almost clone" for my family a few times after. Next time we are back, this is a must go on our list. You locals are soooooolucky!!!

mmmm i visited a friend in VT and we went here and saw most of the people she knew here too. What a friendly place with yummy food

I lived in Vermont for 13 years, and Libby's was my favorite place to go for breakfast. I live in Florida now, and the thing I miss most about Vermont is LIBBY'S!!
