I've been to the Wooden Spoon numerous times. They make a satisfying breakfast. Really good homefries!
If you order the "real" maple syrup for your pancakes, it comes in a teeny tiny pitcher, that's no bigger than a shot glass. It's much too small, and the pancakes seem dry for the lack of an adequate amount of syrup.
It can get really crowded on weekends. Many times there are people standing around waiting to be seated, and the only place for these people are to stand right in the dining area. It can make you feel rushed, if you're eating.
In the winter, the opening and closing of the door is annoying, again, because it's in the middle of the dining area, and if you're seated near the door, it's blast after blast of cold air.
The waitresses are pleasant and friendly, and the food is good. Just arrive early before the rush, and sit towards the back!
