French Toast is the best ever. The banana stuffed version doesn't appeal to me, but the plain version is absolutely perfect--never tasted anything like it, despite many attempts! Other dishes are standard diner fare--nothing special--hence the 4 egg rating.

This place is great! For Breakfast, lunch or dinner but I will focus on what Zaftigs has to offer for breakfast/brunch.

Get the Banana-stuffed french toast! unbelievable! It's a jewish restaurant so they use challah bread which is really thick and light. Also try the Macintosh Apple and Vermont Sharp Cheddar Omelette!! And they serve breakfast ALL DAY. If you get there on the later side you get free bagel chips with homemade cream cheese. IF you are ever in the Boston area skip over to Brookline which is the next town over and check it out!!!!!!
