I agree with the gloves. At least they are wearing them, and have had one dedicated register person when I've been there. But the person packing the donuts wipes his hands on a filthy rag between customers. Disposable gloves are to be disposed...not used multiple times. (Many folks do this, it's just really obvious here. I believe this place is really as clean as anywhere else serving food.) Overall, the price and quality cannot be beat by any donut I have had anywhere, since Douglas's closed in Waynesboro. The hours they are open ensure the freshest quality; it is worth the day long wait to stand in line and wait!

I'M NOT SURE WHY THE PERSON GETTING DO-NUTS WEARS GLOVES WHEN THEY HANDLE THE DIRTY MONEY TOO! WHY CAN'T SEVERAL PEOPLE FILL THE ORDERS FOR THE DO-NUTS AND HAVE 2 CASHIERS (I REMEMBER SEEING 2 CASH REGISTERS)...MONEY IS 1 OF THE DIRTIEST THINGS OUT THERE...MY HUSBAND IS THE ONE WHO WANTED TO TRY THE DO-NUTS,DON'T GET ME WRONG THEY ARE VERY GOOD,BUT AFTER I SEEN THAT IT MADE MY MIND UP THAT I WON'T BE BUYING ANYMORE FAMOUS KRUMPE'S DO-NUTS!

Best Donuts EVER!!! Every year for Lent, they break out their own recipe for FaustNauts for 2 or 3 days. They offer a wide array of donuts for every taste. They have odd hours, but their service is always fast and friendly. Not really a restaurant per say, but they offer the best of the best of an essential breakfast staple.
