ive been going to this diner since before it was remodeled, the owners are friendly, the food is good, its very clean,the prices are the same as all other places around, if you want to eat junk go to mcdonalds and save your pennies. I dont agree with the comments made by the other people on here. I would recomend this place to all my friends. Its very family oriented and if you have any problems the owners or their children are always there to help ou with it.

I recently ate at the crystal diner. Yes i was offered crayons for my kids to color, but my waitress was too busy talking about the problems in her life and flirting with the young boy at the register to pay attention to the fact that i needed a refill for myself and my husband. I ate almost my whole meal with nothing to drink. I mean, all she had to do was come and check on us. And for the prices i was paying, I was expecting a masterpiece to come out of the kitchen on my plate. Wouldnt go back there ever again.

Iread the other reviews on this diner and I don't know where these people ate.when you walk into the diner,your are greeted,the waitress was very friendly,and the breakfast was awesome.The deal is this,you have to go before 11 to get specials,and they include coffee and juice,and you can eat just about anything as a special.My kids colored,had kid's specials,and were offered a lollipop as they left.Before I paid,they asked how everyhting was,and meant it.The place is immaculate,including the bathrooms with the space age hand dryers.I don't know when these people ate at Toms River Diner,but there is absolutly no comparrison,hats off to The Crystal!

Im very disappointed in the crystal diner! The staff is rude, and the food is over priced for what you get. Compared to the toms river diner, this place cant stand up to it. I know when i go out to a diner, i expect decent food at a decent price, and friendly staff. I got none of those three! i will never go back there agin!

This diners prices are ridiculous. A grilled cheese sandwich is almost $6.50 and it doesnt even come with french fries! You have to order fries on the side, and pay!!! It is too big, and staff is very cocky and unattentive. You walk in there and you think that you are being ignored. I would never go there again, even after I gave it three chances!

Since diner was remodeled, prices have gotten out of hand and food is still just OK. Prices are getting ridiculous for what you get. Not as friendly as the old diner was.
