A favorite of mine during my college days at UMass Dartmouth in North Dartmouth nearby. The food is always hot and fresh and sooooo good!! Go for breakfast because it rocks!!

ATE THERE ON A FRIDAY EVENING. THE FOOD WAS ROTTEN AND COLD,LUMPY MASHED POTATOES. GOOD SIZE PORTIONS PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO GET RID OF THE SWILL. NEVER AGAIN!

I will say I'm surprised this diner isn't listed here yet. It's pretty infamous in the city seeing it was featured in Passionada (a movie which was filmed partly in New Bedford.) That and it used to be where a radio show was done. Since then the radio booth has been taken out to make room for more tables but the food has always stayed pretty much the same.
I couldn't get enough of this place when I was pregnant with my son 2 years ago - every morning that's what I wanted, I will say I haven't been in awhile (after everyday for a good 9 months I've had my fill for awhile!) It's so cheap and the portions are not stingy, it's definitely a place to go!
