great breakfast, and the best cheeseburger ive had in a long time,the staff is excellent.scott sang happy birthday to one of his waitresses,it was very funny

I am a college student attending Herkimer County Community College from NYC. I have eaten at many local resturaunts in Herkimer and Utica. Crazy Ottos Empire Diner is by far the best. The staff is friendly, and the portions were huge and out of this world! Compared to what you get at other resturaunts, the prices are reasonable and competitive. Everyone I know loves the diner!

I was very shocked at the prices on the menu.. There were extremely overpriced for such a small diner and a small meal (Chicken Sandwich and Fries $12!)and I had water.. They seemed under-staffed.. The staff they did have were young and didn't seem very experienced..

This old fashioned silver diner is located right off the thruway in Herkimer. New owners purchased the place over a year ago and really cleaned and spruced it up which is very apparent. Both the food and service were exceptional. Train music played while we were there and a customer won a free meal. Very fun. You will love it.
