A friend and I just had a great breakfast at Colby's on Sunday. We waited on their patio for a table for about 15 minutes. Free coffee in an air pot (very strong) and one of those gas-fired patio heaters kept us from freezing. I ordered the eggs florentine benedict--yummy. The spinach was raw baby spinach leaves and the hollandaise was a small amount but quite enough. I asked for the english muffins on the side and they did as I requested. My friend had the traditional French toast and also a cup of granola. He liked his meal too. Only improvement I could suggest is that they add some onions to the home fries, but the potatoes were nicely cooked and seasoned. Two thumps up. We'll certainly go again.

Everyone loves Colby's- old lady's, little kids, artists, businessmen, tourists, and locals. The food is amazing to the taste and large proportioned for the price. All ingredients are fresh, they make everything themselves, meat is optional, babies are welcome, and most importantly, breakfast is served all day ("all day" being from 7am-2pm close.) Hash, lox, flap jack stacks, swirl French toast, Anadama bread, and Eggs Benedict that Arnold himself would surrender for. Located on a brick path in a 200+ year old building, the wooden tables, chairs, and benches with the old brick fireplace and wide maple floors add to the delicious atmosphere. Go hungry, leave happy.
