Years back this place used to have excellent food, we used to stop there all the time enroute to fishing. Then the biscuits started tasting bad so we stopped going there for about a year. Recently we decieded to give it another try so we stopped by there about 1 week back on our way to go fishing and I must say that I was severly disapointed.

The service was good but thats where it ended. While the biscuits were once again pretty good the gravy was just nasty. It tasted like flour water and I ruined my biscuits by putting the flour "Paste" on them so I didnt eat them. My Denver omlette was very small and looked and tasted more like powdered scrambled eggs than real eggs. Besides that the prices seemed pretty high compared to other places. We ended up stopping for a quick and easy decent breakfast at the Carls Jr in Lone Pine

From this day on we will not be stopping there ever again. If you want a big tasty breakfast try giving Mt. Whitney Cafe in Lone Pine a try, great food, huge portions, great service and great prices.

Outstanding roadhouse breakfast and lunch items, with a foo foo coffee bar to boot. well worth the stop.
