A Diamond in the Rough, is how I will describe my experience. Drove up from Chicago to meet a friend from Milwaukee for breakfast and this experience is worth the drive. Hidden behind the shacky fascade is a delightful, unexpected surprise that you'll never forget. Both of Frank's homemade and cinnamon swirl french toasts are a nice twist from the usual diner french toast. You won't be sorry you made the trip to this one of a kind gem.

Frank's Diner is the best place to go when you are hungry for great breakfast food and you want to be amazed by the wait staff. Everyone is there to cook and make sure you are happy when you leave. The great part is that they don't have to try too hard because they have an already amazing established restaurant. I love this place!

This place is an old 1920's diner. It is not fancy at all, but the food and atmosphere more than make up for it. The "Garbage Plates" are a must try for breakfast they are amazing!! Frank's was featured on Diners Drive Inns and Dives on Food network. It is well worth the trip even if you are coming from Milwaukee!
