Must ring in on this one. My husband and I have been to Jack's Outback many times -- it's excellent. Some of the best omlettes and scrambles I've ever had -- great combos of different ingredients, fresh and plentiful. Lovely atmosphere! I'm going for "best breakfast ever" on this one -- while it's not inexpensive, it's not outrageous either. So for a nice compromise between a classic/great "greasy spoon" breakfast for a few bucks -- and ultimate chi-chi which I've never found worth the money -- Jack's is a treat -- you won't be disappointed. Go there in your shorts and weekend wear and have a great breakfast. After the meal, you're set to go for quite a while while you explore The Cape until lunchtime calls.

Everything Pete says about the place is true. (Not quite clear how this site's $$ rating system translates to actual bucks, but I'm estimating the average breakfast for 1 person could be approximately $10 - $12 (this is my off-season memory). Eat less, spend less. But don't short-change yourself -- try something new! Best Regards!

Jack's Outback is outback behind other buildings in historic Yarmouthport. The building has no name on it. The inside is light and airy and extremely clean all the time. It's a garden setting with bird feeders at the windows. And yes Jack is there, he's a beautiful golden retriever with his own dog house out front.

The food is all home made, they bake there own hams and have fresh pop overs every morning. The breakfasts are large and the best you'll find on the Cape or any place else. The wait staff is very friendly and very efficent.
Weekend morning there may be a line waiting to get in but you'll never be disappointed with Jack's.
