I am thinking Martha must be going through the change of life because the woman we dealt with today is certainly not the same person you are all speaking of. The food was not at all what we ordered and although they were kind enough to ask if we wanted something else they also charged for it. The second plate of food was mediocre at best. If your looking for pleasent personality I would recomend looking elsewhere.

I had the BEST service and the Greatest Breakfast that I ever had while visiting Maine, Martha should be on TV!!She is unbelievable, you can feel right at home, she puts the other Martha to shame!!!

one of the best breakfast and meal diners in the Bangor & Ellsworth area. This is a must stop and eat place. there are the friendliest place in Ellsworth.

Martha, one of the four sisters of the Owl Diner in Lowell, MA has recreated the old menu in Maine. This place serves the best breakfast in downeast Maine. The wait staff are fantastic, Martha and Peter, the owners/cooks/etc. put their hearts into every meal and you won't go away disappointed. Make this place a MUST EAT AT when you're on your way to Acadia National Park.
