We are local and have loved the Tiny Diny forever! Mrs. Trudy, Mrs. Gayle and family make you their family. Grab your Saturday paper, never have an empty coffee cup and eat a great breakfast.

Three clues to complete happiness: one-if you get the chance to eat the spaghetti, don't pass it up, two-order your holiday cakes and pies well in advance and three--go as often as you can to feel the love. Yes, get your hiny to the Tiny Diny!

Inexpensive. Tasty. Friendly. Wide variety of breakfast entrees. Pancakes the size of hubcabs! Miss Trudy is delightful! Try the fresh fruit compote on biscuits or pancakes- it's awesome! The food at the Tiny Diny is worth the drive and so much better than the hotel food!

We decided to eat breakfast here after reading the reviews, and I have to say that everyone was absolutely right, The Tiny Diny is a gem! We have lived here for almost 8 months and had yet to find a great diner for breakfast, that is until we found the Tiny Diny. My pancakes were huge and delicious, and my husband's biscuits and gravy tasted homemade, hardy, and delicious. The hashbrowns were a little...well...little and not that great, but everything else made up for it. The service was fabulous, and the ladies at the front were so sweet and made us feel so very welcome.

I wouldn't give it five "stars" as others have, but four is just right - good food at a good price, cute diner atmosphere, great service with a smile.
Definitely better than the usual Denny's-Cracker Barrel-whatever places!

I love this place. We went on Holiday several years ago and while in Mobile happened into the Tiny Diny under advisements from the front desk clerk at our hotel. Oh Happy Day ! I have wished many times to go back and eat again. What a lunch, we stayed an extra day to indulge again. I only wish it were closer to our home in Austin, Texas.

A Mobile landmark! This place serves the absoulute best breakfast in mobile. The staff is very attentive and the food is to die for. A true hungry man breakfast for under $6.00. What a deal! Place has been around for years and isn't goin anywhere.

We go to Mobile frequently, and ALWAYS wind up at the Tiny Diny for breakfast (and sometimes for lunch!). Service is great, food is plentiful and very tasty, and the price can't be beat.

Maybe a little off the beaten path, but not far from the waterfront, and well worth the drive.

I lived in Mobile from 1966 to 1985. I visited the Tiny Diny many times. Recently (May 1st 2005), I went to Mobile to visit a friend who is dieing of cancer. I wanted to take him out to do something fun and we were going to do a big breakfast because we use to do that a lot when I worked in Mobile. We talked about going to several places, and then my frined said let's go the Tiny Diny. We were about as far away from the Tiny Diny as you could get and still be in Mobile county. We made the long drive and it was worth it. Going to the Tiny Diny was great, we ate so much and were so full, the atmosphere was just like it use to be. We had the whole left side of the breakfast menu and enjoyed every bite, but could not eat it all. It is great to see that some things in Mobile have not changed.

the tiny diny is a tradition well known in mobile it has been around for years. their hotcakes are out of this world!! truely delicious.... their country ham breakfast is to die for!!! the biscuits are made from scratch each morning. YUM YUM!!!
