My wife and I have went to this restaurant many, many times and it was excellent. Today after being out of the area for the past year we went back and it seems as if things have changed. The food was not up to its normal "Great Taste" and the waitress's hair seemed to be the most attention. Besides constantly flipping her head to keep the hair away from her face, her hands were constantly pushing back her hair and she used her hands to prepare my salad (applying garnish). Not once was an attempt made to wash. Needless to say I sat that part of the salad aside. Normally I would have given this place a Very Good, but I had a hard time giving it an Okay due to cleanliness of the workers.

Use to work there... and ate 95% of my meals there...I miss the food..best Prime rib ever coast to coast and I have had prime rim coast to coast..It is only 3,000 miles away now but when I get to OR. I always eat at the Town House...

The Towne House Restaurant is a cafe with booths and a serving bar where up to a dozen patrons can sit. It is like a slice out of small town life in the 1950's. It's a very homey restaurant where patrons can share a conversation over breakfast and coffee, and catch up on the lastest local events. The breakfast prices are very reasonable and the food is good. Breaded fish items do tend to be overcooked and over-greasy, but other than that,
the food is delicious and unpretentious.
