Heard about this place from some friends that were visiting last year and just loved the place and told me where to find this Hawaiian cafe. I was told to meet George but when I went to check it out it was gone. The neighboring business told us they had moved to the Waikiki Landmark so we went looking for hula girl cafe. We walked several blocks toward the Convention center and ran right into the cafe. had a great breakfast (the hula scram is to die for) and my hubby had the loco-moco....yummmy! What a treat to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful trees and blue skies along with a bloddy Malia (Mary in Hawaiian) Long story short, we met George and he was everything my friends said he would be.....what a character, so full of Hawaiian hospitality & Aloha! So we'll be back for Taco Thursdays. I hear the Poke(ahi) tacos is out of this world. We'll see.

the fritatas and fancy-shmancy pancakes were awesome, and live music for brunch? very cool for such a small cafe!

I live upstairs from the place in the Landmark in Waikiki. My buddy just told me about it, the infamous Brian Butters... we decided we'd start critiquing restaurants in waikiki and here we are downstairs from my own apartment. this is a very tastey breakfast and quite a cheap value for waikiki. waikiki breakfast cheap? its a contradiction. But, I have to agree with Brian, the service was fun fun fun we had a super time.

This is a "new" cafe. We live in waikiki and have walked by this place a thousand times but they recently changed owners and so we decided to check it out. The internet cafe remnants are still there, but the breakfast was yum-a-licious! We had an "Iron Man" fritata omeelette which was just wonderful. My wife had poi pounder or something french toast, omg., yum. breakfast breakfast breakfast, very very yummy.
