I had the chicken fried steak covered with the green chili pork sauce three eggs and sourdough toast. Outstanding! I am glad I looked on Mr. Breakfast and saw it was just 5 minutes from my hotel.

They're back open and better than ever. Try the CFS of course, and also try the red chili omelets and the pork chili verde.

This was one of my fav places to have breakfast, but sadly, it burned. They say it's going to re-open and be better than before, so I guess somehow they have found a way to improve on perfection.
I cant wait for it to come back

I really liked this place, definitely a great way to start the day. Of course, I had to try the chicken fried steak and it was, "all that, and a bucket of chicken". The service was quick; the portions were adequate, not excessive but definitely not skimpy. The servers were friendly and accommodating. On a nice day, you'll probably want to sit outside on their terrace. It's very quaint and cozy.

Up until I tried this chicken fried steak, I was of the impression that TexAz had the best in town. But this blows theirs away. I consider myself a chicken fried steak snob and this is the real deal. If you want quantity, definitely go to TexAz, if you want quality and taste, this is the place. Either one you can't go wrong but the Ranch House is a little more classy, better service and a nice place to take the wife, lady friend or if you're like me and single, just meat up with a few biker buddies for a great meal before hitting the road.
