Great little place! Coffee was good. Food was cooked well with lots of choices for pancakes, waffles, eggs and meat - they have andouille sausage which was very good.

I would take out of town guests here for breakfast or lunch. They are open from 6am to 2pm. The waitresses were very friendly.

Sunrise Breakfast Shoppe is probably the best breakfast/family restaurant there is in the chesapeake VA area! I had about a 5 minute wait (on a Sun morn). Our waitress was very friendly and our food came out about 10-15 min later! The restaurant was extremely clean and even the lady who took our money was friendly (and very nice to look at!) A definite must try!!

Sunrise has been voted Best Breakfast Chesapeake virginia pilot. Best Brunch. It's the hotest place to go. everyone goes there.
