Father's Day 2012. Staff unprepared for more customer's. 40 minute wait. We were seated expecting this to be Flapjacks. It is not. New owner. Now "Caledon Family Restaurant". Cheryl took our order (name is on the bill) and disappeared for half an hour. She returned with the bill on a plastic tray and a chocolate. We said we didn't get our breakfast yet. Turns out it was made, oh, 20 minutes ago. Ever try French Toast stone cold. Yuck. Strawberry pancakes are made with jam, not real preserves. Also cold, of course. Sausages were little bricks of grease. The owner (female, didn't get her name) would only deduct the price of the coffee! The coffee was the only thing serve correctly, even if there was no refill.

This is no longer Flapjacks. Awful service; unacceptable food; uncompromising management. Will not return and we live in the area.

Our family has been going to Flapjacks for some years now, and our weekend is not complete without it!
The staff is the greatest, and the food is hot and fresh, and there is nothing like it around. We are more than happy to spread the good word to others , that Flapjacks is "THE" place for a fantastic breakfast. WE love it!!!!

My family and I have just discovered FLAPJACKS this great little restaurant that serves breakfast all day . We walked in and
were warmly greeted by the staff.The breakfast selection was a nice variety, from eggs and bacon to flavored pancakes,large omelette's , they even had eggs benedict(everything is made from scratch).The food was delicious and the portions were very generous,and the coffee just kept on pouring. The wait staff was very friendly and did a very good job makeing sure we had everthing we wanted. This is by far the best breakfast we have ever had.By the way did I mention how reasonable the price was,very good value for our money. This is going to be our new breakfast hang out
